Ali I love this shot on two levels. firstly for the scene it depicts, the famous river and lanscape that hangs over it. your composition has been superbly chosen, the ripples in the water leading your eyes into the frame. Inviting the viewer to take a journey with you. The boat ahead looks crowded with sight seers and hints of excitement and awe at the beauty that surrounds them. The mountain sides themselves receding into the distance combined with the magical lighting make for an almost unwordly effect, ethereal and full of mystery. the second reason for liking it is the river you are on is one i have a lifelong ambition to see and phtograph like you. Hence you have helped keep that dream alive and one day I too will explore the areas you have so expertly captured. Tell me Ali 5 hours on the river, was it non stop shooting for you??
